Vaugines village
Located on the southern side of Luberon Natural regional park, Vaugines is a charming and typical Provence village.It is surrounded with vineyards, olive and cherry trees. And his main architectural feature is a XIIth century roman style church.Vaugines has been and still is the decor location for many movies, for example the two most famous : « Jean de Florette » et « Manon des sources» directed by Claude Berri and adapted from Marcel Pagnol.'s novels. This city is very lively, where you can enjoy walking and shopping through

squares. From mid July to mid August, Aix en Provence holds an Opera festival, one
of the most famous of all.
Avignon, at 40 km
Avignon has been the capital of the Christian world, 9 popes since the
XIVth have lived there.They have build the Popes Palace. An architecture only of its kind which combines several
palaces, surrounded with impressive walls. It is listed by
Unesco as a world
cultural heritage.

the city a very special festive and cultural atmosphere.
Arles and the Camargue
Arles
is famous for the Roman arenas and theater.

city and its surroundings are models of lanscapes of Provence
and have inpired Van Gogh who have lived in Arles
from 1888 to 1890.
Camargue is a National Park,
located in the Rhone delta. It is a paradise for
nature lovers.
Covering 13500 ha, it protects and hosts numerous species: pink flamingos,
herons and migratory birds.There are many ways (boat, horse, etc..) to discover this beautiful
region and to watch the wildlife and also the horses and bulls that are breeded there.
Marseille and the Calanques at 60km
26 centuries of history and 2nd largest city in France. Marseille combines tradition and modernity. With its 57 kms coastline, Marseille has magnificent views over the islands dotted around the Bay of Marseille.
The 20-kilometre long Calanques massif is a nature-lover's paradise.
